Inspired by the Mediterranean, our lime render is made in Australia using natural minerals. A naturally white render, it reflects light from within and creates a soft, authentic finish for external applications such as walls and fences. Made from lime, white cement and marble it contains no polymers or additives and is a breathable material that does not need to be painted.
Unlike acrylic renders that seal off the surface, our Mediterranean Lime Render reflects light from within the material, providing a soft appearance that does not need to be painted. It can be built up thick and lends itself to an undulated finish using a steel trowel. In sunlight, subtle hints of marble can be seen from within. Ours is a versatile render with many finishing options and suits a range of styles from mediterranean to modern.
Block and brick are ideal substrates for our natural lime render, as well as sustainable materials such as strawbale.
We supply our natural lime render for projects 50m2 and above. A custom tint service using natural oxides is available for orders 100m2 and above.

Yes it's possible. But it requires additional preparation and careful adherence to our specifications. Please contact us for more information.
Yes, it's best applied over brick or block. For lightweight sheeting, we recommend using our Ibiza Gypsum and Lime plaster for internal applications.
Mediterranean Lime Render can be used on outdoor furniture, kitchens and pizza ovens (over our recommended substrates and with correct preparation in accordance with our specifications). When finished smooth with a trowel and sealed with our recommended micro emulsion sealer, it is easy to clean. For worktop surfaces and table surfaces or to go over sheeting, we recommend our Mercadier Decoration Microcement
We recommend applying our micro emulsion sealer 10-14 days after application to guard against mould, rain discolouration, sea air and spray damage and tannin staining. It's important to note though, that if there is lots of overhanging foliage, staining may still occur.
We recommend our Mercadier Decoration Microcement in wet areas, due to it's very high water resistance and flexibility.
